For me, eating a better diet(less sugar, no animal fat, no animal protein).
Washing my face often, using toothpaste(only a tiny amount on the acne bump, not all over a large area) or hydrogen peroxide on acne, or mint oils on acne. Sometimes even inhaling mint oils or ingesting tiny tiny amounts of mint oils through the mouth. For really bad acne, sometimes rubbing alcohol(in small amounts) or alpha-hydroxy acids, or those pads soaked in salicylic acid. Getting enough omega 3 oils through flaxseeds or fish oil may help, and eating lots of green vegetables may also help prevent them. It is important to avoid touching the face and to practice very good hygiene, as well as staying well-hydrated.
I almost never have problems with acne anymore.
no topical chemicals or drugs helped get rid of mine. eating lots of raw foods and doing cardio exercise 5-6 times a week is the only thing that helped.
toothpaste and neosporne
I’ve taken Accutane twice and it worked both times, but only for a little bit after each session. The doctor told me it works differently for different people, though. For example, my friend took it for three months and hasn’t had acne for about six years.
I used to have acne pretty bad and I resorted to zap zit but I want to warn you that it dried out my skin pretty bad. Make sure that you get a brand that has some sort of loction in it because most of the creams can dry out your skin. I heard that proactive works for some people but it is expensive. Try acne free that helped me.
i first use neutrogena oil blotting tissues, and then once i get all the oil off my face, i wash my face with the oil-free acne soap by neurtogena, and after washing it i use the oxy benzoyl peroxide clearing cream on my acne. I do this twice a day, when i wake up and when i go to sleep.
Proactiv Solution with its three step solution has also done great things in removing my acne.
I used “Clear Pores”. I think it it’s the best product ever! It is a highly effective program to clear pores using this product.
im 26, so i know how you feel; i wish zits were left back in puberty, but i did find something recently that worked. apparently the people above havent had real acne problems, because if they did, they probably wouldnt be telling you to use proactive, zapzit and god forbid, rubbing alcohol- all of those are superficial and they are all going to dry your skin out and then cause your skin to kick into overdrive and produce more oil, and thus bigger and more inflamed zits in time. the best thing for me so far has been clyndamyacin t-gel. ive tried retin-a and a few other common ones, and i got so dry and red, it was counterproductive. the clindamyacin is a pretty good balance. its the one and only thing that helped my relatively severe acne; now i get one or two zits every month or so, which is a hug difference from the dozens i had before constantly. i also switched to organic cleansers and use olive oil underneath my prescription topical, believe it or not (all rx’s can be drying, so youll need the oil to hydrate, and it doesnt clog pores), and my skin has been looking better than it has in years, although i still have scarring from past acne (that wont go away with an rx unfortunately). ask your doctor and try that one out before you try epiduo
It is important to develop a good skincare routine that involves cleansing your skin in the mornings, evenings and after workouts. By adjusting your lifestyle and incorporating a healthy diet, exercise, drinking lots of water and getting adequate sleep will also help to make a significant difference to your skin’s appearance.
Herbs have proven to be a more natural, gentle alternative for the treatment of acne rather than the harsh, synthetic chemicals used in over-the-counter products and conventional medications. Not only are herbal remedies safe and effective to use, they also support the skin, immune and digestive systems.
Since using herbs base product, i never use the conventional medications anymore. The recommended product is at the site below.
Answer:
I was in the exact same predicament as you last year. I literally tried several different acne medications including Differin (prescription), Proactive, Neutrogena, and Azelaic (prescription). I have not tried Epiduo, but I can give you my recommendation and the acne medicine that finally started giving me the best results, treating my acne and preventing future breakouts.
There are many products available for the treatment of acne, many of which are without any scientifically proven effects. Generally speaking, successful treatments show little improvement within the first two weeks, instead taking a period of approximately three months to improve and start flattening out. Many treatments that promise big improvements within two weeks are likely to be largely disappointing.
I researched different acne medications throughout the web and finally picked the medication listed in the source box below. The medication is an entire skin care system and attacks the acne from its source (blockage of follicles). Therefore, it will clear your acne up while preventing future breakouts as I talked about above.
This treatment is also geared towards adults and teens with moderate to mild acne, just as yourself. It worked for me, and I sincerely hope it works for you if you do choose this treatment.
There is also a free two month supply offer of the medication so you can test it and decide if you like it or not before you actually have to pay.
Good luck and I hope this helped!!!!
